No Other Will Do by Karen Witemeyer

The newest novel by Karen Witemeyer No Other Will Do is an intense novel. Emma, a smart and capable woman, has created a place where women can come together, be safe, and help provide for each other at Harper’s Station. Everything is going well until an outside threat endangers everyone. To protect her friends and enterprise Emma enlists the help of Malachi, a man she knows from her past. As the trouble escalates, Emma wonder’s if even a man’s help is enough.

Witemeyer has created a unique story of women helping women. A story where the strength and ingenuity of individuals help the whole community to prosper. With strong, eccentric characters Witemeyer tells a story of strength, renewal, and hope.

I’m an avid fan of novels by Karen Witemeyer but No Other Will Do didn’t keep my interest as I expected. The plot was intense, the characters strong and believable, and the story well written, but I found myself missing the witty humor that is so quintessential in Witemeyer’s other historical novels. Bethany House gave me a complimentary copy of No Other Will Do by Karen Witemeyer for my candid review.

British Isles Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology

Sarah M. Eden’s British Isles Collection from A Timeless Romance Anthology was fun and fast to read. Comprised of six historical romance novellas, award winning author Sarah M. Eden delights us with her characters, plots, and surprises that add joy to everyday life. Talented at writing short stories or novellas, Sarah M. Eden entertains once again with a variety of plots and circumstances. I especially enjoyed the novellas set in Scotland. My favorite novella was A Happy Beginning set in Stirlingshire, Scotland.

Sarah M. Eden most certainly has a talent for transporting her readers to the time and place of her tales. Heather B. Moore gave me a complimentary copy of British Isles Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology by Sarah M. Eden for my candid review.

Tide Pools by Heather B. Moore

Tide Pools is a fun, enjoyable, and clean summer romance novella. As a fan of Heather B. Moore, this story did not disappoint and was another entertaining read. Lexi, a student at San Diego State, loves the ocean for research first and recreation second. When her roommate and good friend Sydney announces she is getting married in Hawaii in a couple of days, Lexi finds herself in Oahu as maid of honor and in a whirlwind romance. Well written, with unexpected plot twists and excellent characters, Heather B. Moore shares a charming story of seizing opportunities. Heather B. Summer House Party: Timeless Regency Collection

As the newest release in the Timeless Regency Collection, the novellas in a Summer House Party are a well written and entertaining of tales about expectations, love unrequited, and love found. Taking readers back to the Regency period in England, readers explore three very unique house parties from that time period.

An Engagement of Convenience by Regina Scott has an unexpected plot and an unlikely heroine. Kitty, an orphan living with relatives discovers an unlikely suitor in her attempts to chaperon younger cousins. A Perfect Match by Donna Hatch introduces us to a woman determined to help her best friend secure a match. While she did all she could, love has plans for her as well. The Paupers’ House Party by Sarah M. Eden is a somber parody on the traditional regency house party. With creativity and insightful characters, readers experience an unconventional house party that still includes love and hope.

Overall, Summer House Party was entertaining, fast-paced, and definitely worth reading. Heather B. Moore gave me a complimentary copy of Summer House Party: Timeless Regency Collection for my candid review.
