A Holiday in Bath is another captivating release from the Timeless Regency Collection. Marianne, Lucy, and Caroline are three young adult women who find themselves in the holiday chaos of Bath for less than ideal reasons. Authors Julie Daines, Caroline Warfield and Jaima Fixsen create well written stories with resilient characters that entertain, amuse, and charm. Great characters, unexpected plots and fun along the way, A Holiday in Bath is worth reading. I received a complimentary copy of A Holiday in Bath: Timeless Regency Collection for my candid review.
Wings of the Wind is the first book I have read by Connilyn Cossette and I liked it. Tobiah, a Hebrew, discovers a solitary woman wounded on the battlefield. In an attempt to save her life Tobiah finds himself drawn to this woman despite her Canaanite heritage. Full of intrigue, emotions, and striking historical detail, Cossette creates a story that takes us into the Hebrew camp after they have wandered 40 years in the wilderness and are preparing to enter the land of Canaan.
As a reader of the Bible, I was impressed by Cossette’s attention to historical detail and her ability to use that detail to create an intriguing story that is full of life and historical authenticity. I loved her array of strong characters and how they bring to life all the different aspects of life and struggle in this time period.
